Steelers legend Terry Bradshaw calls out Dak Prescott for lacking the killer instinct within him, urges him to 'have some nastiness' to his personality

Terry Bradshaw knows a thing or two about winning Super Bowls. After all, he has done it four times. The Steelers legend has established himself as an analyst and an outspoken individual who spares no punches when asked about his honest opinions on players and teams. Despite being a die-hard Steeler himself, Bradshaw these days is keeping a closer tab on the Dallas Cowboys rather than his old team.

In an interview with Forth Worth Star-Telegram, Terry Bradshaw gave his honest thoughts on the state of the team and Dak Prescott. After having a remarkable regular season run which ended with him nearly winning the MVP honors, Prescott failed to carry that momentum over to the playoffs as the Dallas Cowboys fell to the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs. It was a humiliating defeat, to say the least.

Terry Bradshaw remains a big fan of the quarterback but there are a few traits he sees in Prescott which deeply concern him.

I am a huge Dak Prescott fan...instead of being so kind and gracious, kind and lovable, I want Dak to go up there and say f*** you guys, and f*** all of you. You have to have an edge about you. You have to have some nastiness about you, because it will permeate through your entire team. Terry Bradshaw said

He speaks from experience, the Bradshaw-led Steelers played a physical game and spared no chance to get into the minds of their opponents through words and intense physicality.

Dak Prescott’s window to win a Super Bowl with the Dallas Cowboys is beginning to shut

Despite his competitiveness, Dak Prescott is a man respected and revered by his teammates and opponents alike. When one thinks of him, the words fear and trash-talk do not come to one’s mind because those are traits his character is not synonymous with. He’s going to go on the field, do his job, be a good leader and limit getting into a verbal back-and-forth with the opponents.

While these may seem to be commendable qualities in a quarterback, Terry Bradshaw wants to see Dak Prescott channel a different side. He wants to see him go out there and put his ferocity on display, it does not suffice for him to say how hungry he is to win a championship, Bradshaw wants to see the quarterback go out there and show him that he has a fire burning within him to win.

One thing is certain, the day that Prescott decides to take Bradshaw up on his advice, the entire Cowboys locker room will be fired up. For the members of that offense and defense who have known Prescott for the last decade to see him in a different light and with a renewed sense of passion and hunger within him would be extremely motivating. This season, Prescott could use some of that passion and he has to be mad. There is a lot at stake out there for him as he heads into the final year of his contract without any hopes of receiving an extension anytime soon.
